Is there a way to use aero snap in XFCE

I would like to add an aero snap feature to xfce Sabayon 7, but I don't know how. I would like to do it without compiz (because it seems like a big battery drainer) but if there is a way to do it with compiz please post here so i can take that into account. There was a way to do it in Gnome 2.32 using these commands http://www.thebinaryidiot.com/archives/ ... -metacity/ on that webpage. Could they be tweaked to use what ever control xfce uses instead of gnome. I am new to XFCE, and I would really love some help with this. I  really like XFCE and the power advantage it gives me but it is the little things you miss.
