Hello!
I have got a problem with usb and cd media in Thunar since switching from 4.6 to 4.8 on Debian testing.
I installed pmount and usbmount for automounting my media, this works fine and my devices are automagicaly mounted in /media.
Sadly they aren’t accessible through the Thunar side-panel shortcut, making the file manager crashing/closing if I click on it! Also, if I try to eject the device, an error message appears : “Error at ejection : one or more partitions are busy on /dev/sdc”.
Here is the result of the fdisk command :
#fdisk -l
Disk /dev/sda: 40.0 GB, 40007761920 bytes

I made some research and found those discussions :

But my problem still remains…
Thank you in advance for your help.

Is the package "gvfs" installed?

Hi! Thanks for your quick answer.
Yes the gvfs and gvfs-bin packages are installed, as well as the thunar-volman package…

Finally solved the problem! The solution was to remove pmount and usbmount packages.
Still can’t figure out why those package were causing the bug…
Thanks anyway!
