edit the menu

I know this has been asked already, but it looks like the solutions posted in the older threads no longer apply.
I've just installed xfce4 in archlinux.

I can't locate my menu.xml file anywhere.

If possible I'd also like to change the script launched with xfce4-session, the standby and hibernate scripts in particular.. but this is all I've got in my ~/.config/xfce4/xfconf/xfce-perchannel-xml/xfce4-session.xml

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

<channel name="xfce4-session" version="1.0">
  <property name="general" type="empty">
    <property name="FailsafeSessionName" type="empty"/>
    <property name="SessionName" type="string" value="Default"/>
    <property name="SaveOnExit" type="bool" value="false"/>
  </property>
  <property name="sessions" type="empty">
    <property name="Failsafe" type="empty">
      <property name="IsFailsafe" type="empty"/>
      <property name="Count" type="empty"/>
      <property name="Client0_Command" type="empty"/>
      <property name="Client0_PerScreen" type="empty"/>
      <property name="Client1_Command" type="empty"/>
      <property name="Client1_PerScreen" type="empty"/>
      <property name="Client2_Command" type="empty"/>
      <property name="Client2_PerScreen" type="empty"/>
      <property name="Client3_Command" type="empty"/>
      <property name="Client3_PerScreen" type="empty"/>
      <property name="Client4_Command" type="empty"/>
      <property name="Client4_PerScreen" type="empty"/>
    </property>
  </property>
  <property name="splash" type="empty">
    <property name="Engine" type="string" value="mice"/>
    <property name="engines" type="empty">
      <property name="simple" type="empty">
        <property name="Font" type="string" value="Sans Bold 10"/>
        <property name="BgColor" type="string" value="#000000"/>
        <property name="FgColor" type="string" value="#ffffff"/>
        <property name="Image" type="string" value=""/>
      </property>
      <property name="balou" type="empty">
        <property name="Theme" type="string" value="Default"/>
      </property>
    </property>
  </property>
</channel>

Re: edit the menu

ok! i found the damn menu at last, in /etc/xdg/menus/ and copied the folder in my ~/.config/ directory.
so that's ok.

I'd still like to know if it's possible to edit the actions of the hibernate and suspend buttons

Re: edit the menu

The power manager settings allow you to set the action of the hibernate and suspend buttons.
