I know this has been asked already, but it looks like the solutions posted in the older threads no longer apply.
I've just installed xfce4 in archlinux.
I can't locate my menu.xml file anywhere.
If possible I'd also like to change the script launched with xfce4-session, the standby and hibernate scripts in particular.. but this is all I've got in my ~/.config/xfce4/xfconf/xfce-perchannel-xml/xfce4-session.xml

ok! i found the damn menu at last, in /etc/xdg/menus/ and copied the folder in my ~/.config/ directory.
so that's ok.
I'd still like to know if it's possible to edit the actions of the hibernate and suspend buttons

The power manager settings allow you to set the action of the hibernate and suspend buttons.
