Combine launcher and task manager/window buttons?

I'm looking desperately for this. I have found a panel plugin before that did exactly this, but now I can't find it! It basically would combine the launcher and task manager (window buttons) plugins for dock-like behavior (like Windows 7). Does anyone know where I can find this? Thanks!

Re: Combine launcher and task manager/window buttons?

Do you mean grouping all windows from the same app in one button?
I think you can do that by right-clicking the "Window Buttons" (taskbar) area > "Properties" and set "Window grouping" to "Always".

Re: Combine launcher and task manager/window buttons?

there were docks configurable to work as a panel plugin, but I don't remember any name :-(

tried different docks in the past, but I've always come back to traditional taskbar :-)

Re: Combine launcher and task manager/window buttons?

I see. Yes, I think some docks can have buttons configured to be launch-bar/task-bar at the same time.
I haven't heard of Xfce panel plugins for it, though.

In KDE panel, if there are launchers then the task button for that app blends with the launcher IIRC (just mentioning, obviously it wouldn't make sense to run KDE panel in Xfce)
