[Solved] 2 Thunar Issues

Relatively fresh install(antiX/Debian) on Sid. Since the install Thunar has not been able to mount usb drives/stick(don't show in left pane). I figure I'm missing something but what? Next is...... my trash is gone. no icon, no folder, nothing, notta, zip, zero, zilch. It was there before and working as suspected. Can I just build the directory by hand? will it see it?

Re: [Solved] 2 Thunar Issues

Hi. Trash is in ~/.local/share/Trash but since it disappeared maybe it's an issue with a corrupt session (~/.cache)?
You're using SLiM? I think it needs some hacks for mount to work.
Try lightdm, maybe.
When I used antiX, I just let Debian's own way of starting the X session, dropping the ~/.xinitrc hacks as they're, IMO, fine for a 'mean&lean' live-CD but extra nuisance for a normal installed system.

Make sure you have gvfs installed, that package provides trash support for gio.
