(sorry for my bad-writing-english)

yes, i know its nothing new, but facebook and google are evil ;-)

so i searched a good alternative. which is decentralized and where my own data is save, get no tracking cookies and i as user will not be selled without knowing.

diaspora was my first test: its good, but its very difficult to install on your own server and now over a year its still alpha and comes not further.

my final solution is FRIENDICA : http://friendica.com

you can choose a public-server for register http://dir.friendica.com/siteinfo
or you simple make your own friendica-server. when you have PHP and MySQL it takes only 15min and then you are in!

Friendica is easy to install (decentral) - has many options to connect to other networks, so you will only need one login on friendica to have everything in your stream - the devs are realy nice, and everyone can help to make the network every day better and better.

Xfce is NOT Xubuntu. Bugs in Xubuntu don't mean that Xfce is buggy ...

i didnt find a place where i could write it in (offtopic), but friendica is also opensource (a little bit like Jabber) and so I am of the opinion that it could be interesting for everyone!
