I'm using Xfce 4.8, and the analog and LCD clocks are both black, which cannot be changed. (I know there is a workaround for the digital clock.)
This is really annoying when displaying an analog or LCD clock on a dark panel (I prefer a flat black panel).
Will this option be made available in a later version of Xfce ?

I don't use the clock plugin and I know it isn't the same thing but I use the date/time plugin and the font colour for it is set by the GTK theme.

Put this in your ~/.gtkrc-2.0
style "panel"
{
fg[NORMAL] = "#CED8EB"
}
widget_class "*Panel*" style "panel"
widget "*Panel*" style "panel"
class "*Panel*" style "panel"
