XFCE/Thunar Audio preview on mouse hover?(Like in Nautilus?)

Hi everyone!

LOVE my install of XFCE/LMDebian but have one thing I DO miss about Mint/Ubuntu with Gnome.

I'd like to find a way to make XFCE/Thunar play an audio file as long as you hover the mouse over it, as it does in Nautilus.

It was a handy feature, especially when you want to goose any "detect soundplay" daemon software you've coded/are running.

Any suggestions are welcomed. Thanks!

Re: XFCE/Thunar Audio preview on mouse hover?(Like in Nautilus?)

Okay, I went to the #xfce channel on irc.freenode.net and got some good info:

<killermoehre> HalfNote5: there is an inofficial patch
<killermoehre> but you have to build it from source
<killermoehre> HalfNote5: look here https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=40422
<killermoehre> primary designed for arch linux should you check what files are for what and how PKGBUILD
works
<HalfNote5> I can hunt down dependencies and tweak the source as needed. I'm a programmer, though mostly in
Windows, but it shouldn't be a problem for me.
<HalfNote5> I was just having a devil of a time finding something that said (flat-out) that it allowed an audio preview
on mouseover.  Thank you so much.

So there you go. I'll report back on progress later.

Oh, and in case that site's ever down, I'll have a copy for everyone permanently here:
