XFCE Panel Window Buttons: Is there preview like in Windows?

In Windows 7 taskbar, theres a useful feature where mouse over taskbar icons (window buttons) will show a preview of the window, is there something like that for XFCE?  Its veryuseful especially when I have many PDF open and all icons look like a black piece of paper ...

No AFAIK. But you can get this functionality with Docbarx and compiz (with some workarounds, not so easy)
Personally, I use "always group" option. A click on the "pdf" icon will show all my opened  files with their names. It's not a true preview but, for me, it do the job.

It should work with compiz, also with the Xfce panel. The panel only informs the window manager about the button location, the actual tip-window is shown by the window manager (not supported by xfwm4).
