Hi there,
Xubuntu 12.04, I .DO. need find and edit (clear) these right-click context menus:
right-click-desktop-menu (Ǒpen in New Window/Create Launcher../Create URL Link..)
right-click-icon-menu (Open/Open Terminal Here/Find in this folder/..)
Main system -white-mouse-on-blue-click- menu (Web Browser, Mail Reader, Settings> ..) -no problem:
~/.config/xfce-applications.menu
merge includes:
/etc/xdg/xdg-xubuntu-menus/xfce-applications.menu
But where the f*** is(are) proper .menu xml file(s) for right-click events???
compile with ./configure --disable-desktop-menu -- as in:
http://forum.xfce.org/viewtopic.php?id=6981
-its a joke?
Or REALLY right-click menu is inside some binary code??
Xubuntu 12.04, (maybe soon Fedora 17spin) I preffer xfce way tune xml on filesystem rather than ubuntu way some gnome plugins, add-ons, java utls etc.
Thanks very much
Alex

This is no .menu file for the right click context sensitive menu items. It's written into xfdesktop, specifically in xfdesktop_file_icon_manager_populate_context_menu, http://git.xfce.org/xfce/xfdesktop/tree … er.c#n1361
If you'd like more flexibility with it, open a feature request detailing what you'd like to see on https://bugzilla.xfce.org/ under xfdesktop.
