Menu editor other than Alacarte?

Until recently I've been using Alacarte to edit the menu but about 1-2 months ago some settings didn't work, because for some reason it's using gnome-desktop-item-edit, which requires the gnome panel to work. I've found a patch that can make Alacarte work in XFCE, but until there's a way to detect the current desktop enviroment and use gnome-desktop-item-edit or exo-desktop-item-edit accordingly it's not ready (see this bug report). Until then, is there any other GUI app to edit the Xfce menu?
