[Solved] Setting up the default Panel layout

Hi,

I'm looking for docs and resources in helping me to create a global panel set up. I've created an account that I have customised with panels and launchers but now I'm looking for how to export this information so that new users will get them. I am using Xubuntu 12.04.

I've already tried to copy the xfce4-panel.xml to /etc/xdg/xfce4/xfconf/xfce-perchannel.xml copies the panels but the launchers are empty when I log in as a new user.

I would appreciate any help or pointers, thanks.

That's the default configuration.
Your customized ones are in ~/.config/xfce4/panel and ~/.config/xfce4/xfconf/xfce-perchannel-xml/xfce4-panel.xml.
Copy those files (the full path ever since the .config folder) to /etc/skel and they should be applied for new users (if adduser is configured to do that).
