Hello xfce forums. The wiki doesn't seem to clear this up for me and neither does google so, reluctantly, I decided to ask here. Is there any way to change the Applications menu icon from the xfce mouse to say, the Arch linux icon? I am guessing that you just download icon themes but I can't seem to find any arch linux icons anywhere. Thanks

Right-click it, choose Properties, then click on the icon and choose the image to use.

Yes you can. Right-click the mouse icon and choose Properties then click on the icon to change it. You can find plenty of arch icons using google search. I believe the faenza icon pack includes arch icons: http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=39334

Thanks ToZ! For some reason though I download the tar file and extract it to a .icons file that I created in my home folder but when I go to change the appearance it does not show. I thought what I previously stated was all that I needed to do what am I missing?

You mean the Faenza icon theme?
It has a script in that folder called INSTALL and you have to run it for it to copy all its variants to your system.
As for the menu icon, you need to browse to the specific image (for the Faenza theme you'll find an Arch icon at /usr/share/icons/Faenza/places/scalable).
