How to reset keyring password?

Every time I start chrome or something similar, the "Unlock Login Keyring" dialogue box pops up asking for an unlock password. Neither my user password nor root password works. I believe this belong to gnome-keyring that was installed as a dependency. How do I reset this password?

Thanks.

Re: How to reset keyring password?

Shouldn't have been installed as dependency for Chrome, maybe for something else?
Anyway, if you can't remove it it doesn't work properly with Chrome anyway (at least last time I tried) so you better edit all Exec keys in your google-chrome.desktop changing 'Exec=google-chrome....' to 'Exec=google-chrome --password-store=basic....'
But you may have to delete your ~/.cache/google-chrome and ~/.config/google-chrome so it starts afresh.

P.S. for other apps that do work properly with gnome-keyring, what I would do to reset it was logout from Xfce, switch to a virtual terminal, login there and look for related stuff to delete (maybe from .gconf, .gnome.. or the like).
