Hi all.
Encountered this bug often (starting from 2010) and on different systems (Gentoo, Mint linux) under different session managers (plain startx with startxfce4 within .xinitrc, gdm, slim), now it's annoyed me to finally ask a question 8)
After a reboot (shutdown -r) and sometimes hibernation (pm-suspend), either layout list or layout switch key is lost from list and stops working. I don't know what causes this problem in so much different situations, but to give you a clue, I use 'normal' session termination (via xfce's session manager) in approx 5% cases; and it still leaves a feeling that layout may get lost even at this case;
so, what care is required to keep these settings intact and working in all possible system restart scenarios?Really hate to edit xorg.conf for Xkb options here in 2012
Last noticed on: xfce4-xkb-plugin 0.5.4 on XFCE 4.8 (Mint)
