[Solved] Menu items displaying GenericName

My menu items are displaying the GenericName value of .desktop files. I want the Name value to be displayed. Any idea why my XFCE is doing this and how I can make it do what I want?

As a temporary work-around, I just did a perl regex search and replace to remove all GenericName lines from the .desktop files, but everytime something is updated, it creates a new .desktop with the GenericName back in there.

Running:
XFCE 4.8 (xfce4 was installed over a Gnome Ubuntu, but after updates, says "distributed by Xubuntu")
Ubuntu 12.04

Re: [Solved] Menu items displaying GenericName

Right-click the menu and choose properties. Uncheck "Show generic application names"
