Thunar and other xfce apps are displaying size in decimal-based megabytes.
How to make them display everything in units with binary prefixes (e.g. mebibytes or just «normal megabytes»)?
if it makes any difference: I'm using xfce 4.10.0 on linux Mint.
The same situation on gentoo my machine.

ok, it seems that 1000-based units are hardcoded with g_format_size().
I'll prepare a patch to add such setting to thunar but it would be nice to make this setting system-wide.
I'll be glad to receive some hints how to add system-wide settings, if it's possible now...
