XFCE vs. Xfce | ExFace

Good evening,

What is the proper capitalization standard to be used when referring to the XFCE/Xfce desktop environment? I have seen it capitalized in both ways, and was wondering if there is an accepted 'official' version.

Also, when pronouncing it, does one simply treat it like an acronym (X F C E) or as a word (One person I know of pronounces it as 'ExFace')?
