Interested in xfwm4 performance

1. Can you benchmark xfwm4? (e.g. metacity has metacity-theme-viewer)
2. Is xfwm4 faster if all graphics (borders, title, buttons, etc...) are in .xpm image file format rather than .png?
3. Is the area you grab (with much effort) on top of titlebar to resize window always 1px thin or can be it be increased (google chrome has 3px thin area on top)?

Doesn't this depend on the theme?
