Hi, I am running Xfce 4.10 on Archlinux and can't seem to load the settings screen properly. When I click Applications.Settings, the screen that opens has only the following options (in text form, not icons): desktop, file manager, notifications, Orage preperences, Panel, Power Management, Preferred applications, removable drives and media, session and startup, window manager, window manager tweaks, Workspaces. I don't get the screen with icons such as Appearance, Desktop, etc. Have I failed to download something?

Sound like your Xfce package dependencies are messed up : missing package or inconsistency packages version (4.8 / 4.10) ...
Xfce is NOT Xubuntu. Bugs in Xubuntu don't mean that Xfce is buggy ...

Thanks, I have reinstalled xfce-settings. That has done the trick.
