It's just 1 commit, but there you go folks: Thunar has tabs!
I tried your commit with latest version of Thunar (1.5.0) under FreeBSD, it's great

There is a development release to test Thunar with tabs: http://mail.xfce.org/pipermail/xfce-ann … 00227.html

Hope it can be disabled ;-)
Once-upon-a-time I used pcmanfm and was accustomed to tabs then now I have it installed mostly because I test the git versions, use it with IceWM and sometimes translate it and if I could disable tabs I would (talking about it I'll open a FR there for a setting to choose between new tab or new window on middle-click).

If they do it like PCmanFM, where the New Tab option is in the right click menu, just ignore it, you won't have to disable it.
bah weep grana weep ninny bon.

Oh well, going off-topic now...but in pcmanfm middle-click opens in a new tab by default and the 'new window' option is in the context menu.

In the preferences you can choose the middle click action, it defaults to new window.
