I have installed xfce4.10 from the ppa repository and the xfce4-settings-manager package is from the url (http://ppa.launchpad.net/xubuntu-dev/xf … 2_i386.deb). The manager becomes more perfect than ever. But today the manager could not load any menu, suddenly. The error message was got from terminal:
(xfce4-settings-manager:6835): xfce4-settings-manager-CRITICAL **: Failed to load menu: Error on line 95 char 8: Element 'menu' was closed, but the currently open element is 'Menu'.
It looks like as:
So what's wrong? Why? And how to fix it?

It looks like a wrong menu file. It opens with 'Menu' and closes with 'menu'.
Look at the file contents for that package to see which file might be the wrong one.

In default Xfce it's /etc/xdg/menus/xfce-settings-manager.menu
But in Xubuntu it might be somewhere else.

In Xubuntu, its located at /etc/xdg/xdg-xubuntu/menus/xfce-settings-manager.menu
