Hi All,
I'm running Xfce 4.8 on debian testing and am unable to figure this out. If I drag say, a file across the desktop into a desktop folder, it places a copy in the folder but leaves a copy on the desktop. What I would prefer it to do is have it function more like the "cut" and "paste" commands. Just like in Gnome or KDE, you drag the file or folder icon across the desktop and into another desktop folder, it goes into the folder and deletes the copy from the desktop. Not finding any help on the Web or in Xfce preferences with this question.
Thanks,
u0

Just saw the similar topic posted before mine. Holding the "shift" key down while dragging and dropping works but... will someone please take a look at fixing this bug?
Thanks in advance,
