Changing layout issue

Hi All,
I'm new in XFCE and I think it is great. I have only one problem:

After setting the "Change layout" keys to Alt + Shift (same as in Gnome) XFCE won't recognize
any combination that has the prefix of Alt + Shift.

For example, the Alt + Shift + Tab doesn't work or Alt + Shift + R (under eclipse). How can I change the keyboards shortcuts to work only after
I leave the key ?

I'm using archlinux  64bit. with XFCE 4.10
