I have an encrypted USB drive connected to a server. I'd like to let a non-technical user who has ssh access mount it, in order to copy files with thunar.
When running thunar locally on the server, mounting it is point-and-click. When running thunar with "ssh -Y server", the drive for some reason doesn't show up. Is there a way to let a remote user (without root access) mount the USB drive, as simply as if it were connected to their laptop?
I'm guessing making it show up in Devices when doing Ctrl+L "ssh://server/" would require some coding on Thunar itself, but perhaps I can at least make a shortcut that runs "ssh -Y server mount-a-usb-device-with-thunar"?
