xfce-4-10 : track buttons very sensitive

Fedora 18 with xfce-4-10 on a laptop.

The slightest  pressure on the trackpad buttons generates an event. It shows up most often when I delete an email in thunderbird. I can't release the pressure quickly enough to avoid deleting the subsequent email.

I've looked at the "Mouse and Touchpad" settings, but can't find anything there. Is there a way to control this?
