Hi. I'm having a small issue with Xfce 4.10(.0-2) after just setting it up on Arch Linux (latest) tonight. Basically, I like my panel to look quite like Windows XP, so I have basically Xfce Application Menu, some shortcuts, then the Window Buttons, then a dynamically expanding separator (to keep the next block of stuff right-aligned), and some stuff on the right. The problem I'm having is that when I have say 8 applications open, Xfce pushes my clock off the right of the panel so I can't see it. Like this:
Note the whitespace to the right in the screenshot; the panel is defined as 100% but single monitor. Even if I expand it over both monitors the problem persists:
I'm not sure if this is actually expected behaviour or not, since I don't think I've actually used Xfce with this many icons before.
Any ideas?
