Can we open a new window with specified url in parent browser

can we place an  icon  in xfce panel and  open a new window in  user browser with specified url (xyz.com)   
any  plugin available with this feature  ?
we can open a url  xfce  panel  browser by using  plugin launcher
my actual requirement need to  open  an url  in my system browser from xfce panel
please share thoughts

Add a launcher to the panel, and use it to launch the command xdg-open http://xyz.com

xdg-open will open the URL in the system's default browser.

I had tried this method its  open  in xfce panel browser
am using  ulteo web client app my requirement is   url will open users browser
not in xfce panel browser

Create a launcher with the following command:
firefox 'www.xyz.com'
