date-time V0.62 release

Hi Guys:

I'm on Gentoo....
updated to 0.6.2 release of the date-time plugin, left work. Got home, fired the laptop up and the text is sideways...WTF?
Fiddled with the settings, no joy. Then found this: http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.comp.d … mits/48308

No the chap that did this certainly thought he was fixing something....but he didn't fix anything, from where I sit, he broke it.

Do, just masked 0.6.2 in gentoo and just rebuilt 0.6.1 again. Will stay with 0.6.1 until an option is put in in the next release to set the text orientation.

Update!

Build finished, jumped out and back into X, and my text is wonderfully horizontal in my vertical panel again.

Perfect.

Datetime v.0.6.2 displays the clock vertically on a vertical panel in Xfce 4.8 (v. 0.6.1 used to display it horizontally). Looks like a bug to me, but then Xfce 4.8 is no longer supported upstream so you should not expect new plugins to be compatible with it.
