[Solved] How to modify the top level xfce menu

Hi,

upon two-finger-tap on the desktop I get the xfce (4.10) menu; I would like to modify its aspect in the following way:

1) remove all default (desktop-, filemanager-related) menu items and

2) promote those menu Items that appear under "Applications" to be the top level items (so upon clicking on the desktop, I can directly chose an application)

Thanks for your help
