lightdm, xfce4 and backlight

Hi, I'm having a problem with xfce 4.10 in my laptop.

In my arch linux, after I login I get a blackscreen. I can use my hardware keys to bring the brightness, but I'm looking something more persistent.

I tried the following:

1.- Add a script to run setpci or xbacklight on session manager, and nothing
2.- on my .xinitrc also added the script, nothing...
3.- also echo 5 in /sys/class/*/*brightness files.

any ideas?
