Xfce desktop installer script on Ubuntu for home, office or server computers.
This script installs Xfce desktop and a set of programs according to user needs starting from an Ubuntu Server base system. It's valid for netbooks, notebooks, desktop computers and servers.

I tried to visit your webpage, but my browser's script-killer won't let the script that you are trying to run on my computer through. And, as a brand new member with only one post, you will, perhaps, pardon my misgivings about approving it. Do you have an alternative website that doesn't require me to do so? Or that at least shows a minimum of information - something other than "nothing at all" would be a start, lol - whether or not one approves the script you're trying to push to visitors?
Regards,
MDM

Hi MountainDewManiac.
The script that your browser is trying to run is just javascript. The website is a static multi-lingual page that is using handlebars templates: http://handlebarsjs.com/ to create the html content and it uses javascript for that task. Without javascript html content can't be created, so the web page shows blank. Furthermore it's needed for more components of the page.
But you are totally right, i can fix it to show a basic information of the page, if you don't allow javascript execution, instead of a blank page. After that, when you can see this information you will be free to decide if you allow javascript execution to completely see the website.
I will make an update of the page soon. Thanks for the warning.
Greetings.

Hi. The website has been updated.
Now if you have javascript disabled in your browser (very unusual) or you have a javascript blocker, you can see an alternative page with basic information and no javascript at all.
I hope you like the project and if it is so, you could click "I like it" in the facebook page.
Regards.

A new version of the Xfce installer script has been developed: version 1.2.
It's still compatible with Ubuntu 12.04 and 13.04 and now it also adds support for Ubuntu 13.10.
Added installation profiles to specify the preset programs to be installed on computers of different areas: desktop computers (newer or older), office computers or even server computers. According to the selected profile, the programs to be installed vary to suit the needs.
Also added other interesting features.
