Bug in plugin DateTime

Sorry, my English is bad.

My language used: pt-BR (portuguese - Brazil)

I use Linux Ubuntu 12.04 minimal (mine-cd) with Xfce 4.10
I use the calendar plugin DateTime.

Today, Saturday, is displayed "Error" (translated: Erro), when you hover the bar clock. Should show today's date.

I know why it is not showing the date! is because the date is "Sáb" (Portuguese - Brazil), Sat is in English (no accent).

In programming the plugin does not recognize the accent on the date. Could review it?
