Hi everybody,
Since I haven't got received any answers/solutions on other forums I place my question here.
When I maximize a window full screen, the bottom edge of the window hits the top edge of the task/menu bar. The windows does not disappear behind the task/menu bar. Whenever I move the menu/task bar from the bottom of the screen to the top of the screen something weird happens. When I, after moving the task/menu bar, maximize a window, the titlebar and close/maximize/minimize buttons disappear behind the taskbar. Is this normal or is this a bug?
Can someone explain me what happens here and how to solve this? I find this quit annoying.
Many thanks!

Which version of Xfce are you using?
Unfortunately, I can't replicate this issue on my system (Arch+Xfce 4.10). Depending on the version that you have, make sure that "Don't reserve space on borders" (Panel properties, Display tab) is unchecked if you don't want windows to maximize behind the panel.
EDIT: Just checked on Xubuntu 13.10 (Xfce 4.10.1) and am unable to replicate issue there either.

I'm using Mint 15 + Xfce 4.10.
I found something about it and it seems that it has to do with some setting: http://askubuntu.com/questions/270816/x … ar-missing
