I recently upgraded two systems from Fedora 17 to Fedora 19. My typical layout has 4 workspaces, with several Terminal windows scattered throughout them. Under fc17, when I saved my session on Logout, the terminal windows would all appear in their respective workspaces when I restarted X11. But, in fc19, all the terminal windows appear in the first workspace when I restart X11. I've tried saving the session in both the session manager settings and at logout, and they all still pop up in the first workspace.
Pertinent versions are:
xfce4-session-4.10.1-1.fc19.i686
xfwm4-4.10.1-1.fc19.i686
xfce4-terminal-0.6.2-1.fc19.i686
This happens on both systems which were upgraded. I've tried completely removing the .config/xfce* directories and .cache/sessions directory. The default terminal appcliation is xfce4 terminal, but it does the same thing with Gnome terminal.
Any ideas?

So, is no one else having this problem? Does Terminal layout work on restore for anyone else? Or, am I the only one that uses xfce4_terminal?

I just tried it on a system running in a vm, it is a 'pure' Xfce installed from the F19 live cd with few changes. I got the same thing happening. It isn't something I usually do so can't say how well it worked before.
You could try reporting a bug, might be worth asking on the Fedora Xfce mailing list too - https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/xfce

This has been happening for me since day 1 with F19. I'm just glad it isn't just me.
And yes, it happens whether F19 is running on the iron or inside a VM.
Annoying as heck...

I just posted a patch for this in the bugzilla entry. I'd appreciate it if you tried it out.
