XFCE fresh install won't start automaticly/sudo required?

I've recently installed XFCE4 over Debian Wheezy for ODROID-U2, I had fluxbox before and didin't take it out because I wanted the best of both "If" I called it. But after the installation, neither fluxbox or XFCE starts upon power up, I have to ssh to it and do "Sudo startx". What causes this to happen and what do I have to modify in order to make it work? I'm also stuck on root user.

The fact that neither Xfce nor fluxbox starts makes this sound more like a Debian issue; have you checked at one of their help forums?  Also, the correct command for starting X with Xfce is startxfce4, so you might try that instead.

Thanks for replying Sideburns. I'll check it out. I didin't know if it was either debian or XFCE that is causing this.
