I have Xfce 4.8 on a computer with Thunar 1.2.3 and Xfce 4.10 on a new computer with Thunar 1.6.3. After moving files from the old computer to the new one I decided to double check that I had not missed any files. An easy way to do this would be to right click on a folder and select Properties, doinbg so on each computer simultaneously so as to compare the number of files and total size of the folder. I discovered that the number of files was the same (I didn't leave any files out of the copy process), but the size of the folders was uniformly slightly larger on the new computer. After much searching I figured out that Thunar 1.6.3 is reporting sizes in MiB and BiB, where 1.2.3 reports sizes in MB and GB.
The bug is that when you select Properties the popup window in 1.6.3 still says MB and GB, when it should say MiB and GiB to properly reflect the size of the file or folder. I'm sure it was just an oversight - when they made the change to MiB and GiB someone forgot to change the text of the popup window. Should I report this? Where and how?

Hey,
if you think it's just a translation error, you can fix it yourself here: https://www.transifex.com/projects/p/xfce/ It will then automaticly merged into the git repos. If you think it's a different but, you can report it here: https://bugzilla.xfce.org/describecompo … uct=Thunar
Greetings
