Hi, Im new to XFCE Xubuntu and I want to install a theme

Hi, my name is Andrea Dixon. I was wondering how to install  themes, because when I try opening the program none of my themes show up. Is there a program I can use, besides Ubuntu Tweak? I have used Ubuntu before but I don't know if Xubuntu is the same. Thank you , alot.

Re: Hi, Im new to XFCE Xubuntu and I want to install a theme

Xfce (Xubuntu) does not use the same process as Ubuntu does for themes.

More information about installing themes can be found here. Basically, extract the downloaded theme to ~/.themes.

You'll probably want to install themes that support GTK3 if you want a consistent look between GTK2 and GTK3 applications. See this thread for some Xfce GTK3 themes. Others can be found around the net.
