Padding in the Application Menu

How to increase padding (spacing between entries) in the Application Menu? The rather default compact nature makes it a little hard for me to see.

I have a .gtkrc-2.0 file in the home directory, so I assume any hack could go in there. Thanks.

Re: Padding in the Application Menu

GtkMenu::horizontal-padding = 0
    GtkMenu::vertical-padding = 4
    GtkMenuBar::window-dragging = 1
    GtkMenuBar::internal-padding = 0
------
either edit directly your theme or you might be able to put them into ~/.gtkrc-2.0 as mentioned
