Thunar - delete key moves cursor up?!

Hello, this is very strange and I haven't seen it anywhere else - I was cleaning my downloads folder and wanted to delete like 3 files in a row, BUT after pressing delete 3 times I noticed I did not delete those files after the one I had selected, but those above the cursor, because after deleting one the selection moves up instead of down! I really don't think this is very convenient and natural bevahior. So it seems I should rather start from the end when going through a folder and deleting files. Or I can use shift and arrows to select multiple files, but who would do that in case you want to delete only like 4 files...
