editing menus

I installed menulibre on my xfce desktop in Debian Sid...but it crashes with this error:

frank@frank-debian:~$ menulibre
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/bin/menulibre", line 24, in <module>
    import gi
  File "/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/gi/__init__.py", line 36, in <module>
    from ._gi import _gobject
ImportError: /usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/gi/_gi.so: undefined symbol: _Py_ZeroStruct
frank@frank-debian:~$

Are there any work arounds? Where should I report the bug?

Thanks

Re: editing menus

I've got menulibre working on both Xubuntu and Arch. That looks like some sort of python error. Debian sid is pretty cutting edge, I'm guessing there is something amiss with the python version or dependencies. Probably best to post this in a forum specific to debian sid.
