Running Ubuntu Server 14.04 with xfce4 4.10, xfce4-taskmanager 1.0.1.
I'm confused about the process uid values in xfce4-taskmanager compared to output of the ps command or gnome-system-monitor. I've only noticed this on the google chrome processes.
Here is what i see in xfce4-taskmanager:
Here is the output of ps -efH command:

My question is: why do some of the chrome processes appear to be running as root in xfce4-taskmanager, while the ps command lists all of them running as my user? Is there a difference between the two displayed fields?
