Hi,
since some time, maybe after an update, I have a problem setting the locales:
I do the following in ~/.xsession:
export LANG="de_DE.UTF-8"
export LC_MESSAGES="en_US.UTF-8"
exec xfce4-session
It does not work anymore. After starting xfce4-session I get the following locales in terminals.
The language of xfce-menus/panels etc is also english and not german:
olli@miraculix:~$ locale
LANG=en_US.utf8
LANGUAGE=
LC_CTYPE="en_US.utf8"
LC_NUMERIC="en_US.utf8"
LC_TIME="en_US.utf8"
LC_COLLATE="en_US.utf8"
LC_MONETARY="en_US.utf8"
LC_MESSAGES=en_US.UTF-8
LC_PAPER="en_US.utf8"
LC_NAME="en_US.utf8"
LC_ADDRESS="en_US.utf8"
LC_TELEPHONE="en_US.utf8"
LC_MEASUREMENT="en_US.utf8"
LC_IDENTIFICATION="en_US.utf8"
LC_ALL=
Why is it overridden. Where is it configured to use en_USF.utf8?
Any Idea?
There is no ~/.xinitrc
xfce4 version 4.10
Debian testing
Thanks
Oliver Joa
