window placement error after using xrandr to change dual monitor mode

Dear All, I recently encountered two problems.

First:
upgrade my computer from 12.04 xubuntu to 14.04 xubuntu.

if I change my dual display from horizontal to vertical or from vertical to horizontal, all application window in monitor_2 will stick to monitor_1 edge.

below is what I type:
1.xrandr --output HDMI1 --auto --primary --output HDMI2 --auto --right-of HDMI1
2.move windows to HDMI2
3.xrandr --output HDMI1 --auto --primary --output HDMI2 --auto --below HDMI1

then those windows in HDMI2 before changing to vertical which were located at border of HDMI1 after changing to vertical
and it didn't show full window, those window managers were too small to control that.

or just using "xfce4-setting-manager->display", you can easily change the arrange of monitors, and reproduce this problem.
but 12.04 didn't exist this problem.

Second:
it occured at 12.04 xubuntu and 14.04 xubuntu.

if I change my dual display from horizontal to vertical or from vertical to horizontal, and set maximize and xrandr, then it missed after double click  window manager to resize

below is what I type:
1.xrandr --output HDMI1 --auto --primary --output HDMI2 --auto --right-of HDMI1
2.move window to HDMI2 then maximize this window
3.xrandr --output HDMI1 --auto --primary --output HDMI2 --auto --below HDMI1
4.the window correct show maximize at HDMI1 but...
5.I double click this window to resize

It missed , and it appeared at older HDMI2 placement after I executed xrandr --output HDMI1 --auto --primary --output HDMI2 --auto --right-of HDMI1 again.
