Configuration of Terminal from CLI

Is there a way to change the configuration from the command line once Teminal has started?

I do realize you can pass parameters to Terminal when starting it but that is to early for what
I want.

Re: Configuration of Terminal from CLI

Depends on exactly what you want to do. You can, for example, change the font by editing ~/.config/xfce4/terminal/terminalrc and changing the font value. Once you save the file, the change will be applied to the active terminals.

Re: Configuration of Terminal from CLI

The active terminals would have to accept different configurations.

Scenario:
Four active Terminals. I resume working on a project with two of the Terminals.
I type in each terminal that I will use at the CLI 'NAME OF SCRIPT' + 'PROJECT NAME' .
The prompt changes ( can do this already ), the title changes, back ground changes only
for the Terminal where I ran the script.
