[Solved] Always xfce4-settings display when i reopen the lid of notebook

Xfce-setting display always appears when I reopen lid of IBM ThikPad 1860 R32. I have set HandleLidSwitch=ignore in /etc/systemd/logind.conf and IgnoreLid=true in /etc/UPower/UPower.conf but when i close the lid the monitor turns off (it is fine by me) but when I reopen it xfce-setting display appears. This should not happen because the user could change the setup of display by rtation or reflection the screen inadvertently, for example.
There is a way to disable the automatic recognition of external monitor because when you reopen the notebook seems to behave like when you connect an external monitor via the VGA socket. And if that is not possible it's possible to eliminate the options of rotation and reflection of the management interface of the screen? Thank you in advance

Which version of Xfce are you using and which distro?

Do you have notify on connect ("Configure new displays when connected") enabled?

xfconf-query -c displays -lv

Re: [Solved] Always xfce4-settings display when i reopen the lid of notebook

I'm sorry I forgot to specify it. Distribution is Xubuntu 14.04 and the xfce should be the last: 4.10.

My output of xfconf-query -c displays -lv is:

/Default/LVDS1              Portatile
/Default/LVDS1/Active       true
/Default/LVDS1/Position/X   0
/Default/LVDS1/Position/Y   0
/Default/LVDS1/Primary      false
/Default/LVDS1/Reflection   0
/Default/LVDS1/RefreshRate  60,003840
/Default/LVDS1/Resolution   1024x768
/Default/LVDS1/Rotation     0
/Notify                     false

Thank you

From your original post, I read that you had an external monitor attached. From the results of that command, it doesn't look like you do.

I wonder whether this is an acpi-related trigger that is causing the dialog to appear. Try this first. Go to Settings Manager >> Keyboard >> Application shortcuts and delete the "xfce4-display-settings --minimal             XF86Display" shortcut.

No, no external monitor attached only notebook lcd monitor...

Delete the "xfce4-display-settings --minimal             XF86Display" shortcut that's fine for me. Thank you!!!
