boot to command line

I've got xfce4 installed on a Raspberry Pi.
What do I need to do to boot to command line instead of booting to the gui.
Thanks

Re: boot to command line

Try uninstalling your Display Manager...lightdm, gdm, sdm, slim...etc.  That should do it.

Or, if you have GRUB installed, and can select '(Recovery Mode)', that will do it, but will require you to Login as Root.
