Been using clipman actions through various versions. But on a fresh install of Fedora 20 the actions are no longer working unless I hold Ctrl after selecting. I'm accustomed to actions triggering automatically upon selection. Hoping someone can help me get that behavior back.
Clipman 1.2.5
Xfce 4.10
Fedora 20
xfce4-clipman-plugin-1.2.5-1.fc20.x86_64
xfce4-panel-4.10.1-3.fc20.x86_64
xfce4-about-4.10.0-11.fc20.x86_64
Settings:
Sync selections: on (off doesn't affect this)
Save on quit: on
Store last copied image: off
Ignore selections: off
Enable actions: on
Paste instantly: none
position menu at mouse: on
reorder history: on
reverse histor order: on
show actions by holding control: off (turning this on makes the actions work if I hold ctrl after selecting)
skip actions by holding control: on
No messages from the program except sometimes when opening the list from the panel icon:

Not really a solution but I use Korora which is based on Fedora and had some unreliable behaviour with Clipman and ultimately switched to parcellite.

Tried some others including those suggested. Problem is they all lack the one of the main features of clipman, the automatic recognition of potential actions and pop-up of possibilities window. With all the others I have to manually invoke the popup and choose from over a dozen possibilities.

I compared the Fedora 20 source rpm to the source directly from xfce and they're the same. Maybe the problem lies somewhere else in the overall system... For now I've just hacked the whole control key behavior out of the source and recompiled.

Hi,
Were you able eventually force the xfce4-clipman to automatically do the action on selected pattern. I have the same issue. No action is performed when I highlight the pattern. I want to have a single action to be performed on all patterns copied into clipboard, so my pattern is ".*". I have the "Enable actions" and "Sync selections" checkboxes enabled in xfce4-clipman.
I use:
xfce4-clipman 1.2.6
xfce 4.12
xubuntu 16.04
thanks for help

It just worked on my next Fedora major version upgrade. I'm on Fedora 25 with clipman 1.4.2 now.
