[Solved] Thunar Custom Action for Portable .Exe Program

How do you create a Custom Action that can open a portable .exe program? I have .rar files that I want to open in a portable Windows program. Since the program is portable it hasn't been installed through Wine. Double-clicking the .exe file opens the program with no problems, so I know the program operates just fine. The path to the file is: /home/gweruj/Portable_Apps/Graphics/MV/MV.exe

I've been searching for an answer on Google but haven't found anything that addresses portable programs.

I'm using Thunar v. 1.6.3 on Linux Mint XFCE 64 bit.

Thanks for the help! But that doesn't solve the problem. The .exe file is to a portable program, and I don't need a custom action that will open an .exe file with Wine. The portable program opens automatically upon being double-clicked. I need a custom action that will allow me to open .rar files with the portable .exe I have.

The path to the portable .exe is: /home/gweruj/Portable_Apps/Graphics/MV/MV.exe

Sorry, I misunderstood. Not sure if this will work (can't test it myself), but try:

Note: The command in the first image is:

wine /home/gweruj/Portable_Apps/Graphics/MV/MV.exe %f

Right-click the rar file and select the "Open with MV" option.

Great, that worked, tx! I've been trying all day to solve the problem. Should have tried putting "wine" in there.
