pyxfce sample panel plugins location

Hi,

Interested in developing python panel plugins. I have downloaded the samples but I need to know where to place the code to have it recognized by the system. I know it will probably be in home under .config. Thanks.

I think it's not too perspective to use pyxfce. Probably it will not work/compile with current version of XFCE. Last commit was made more than three years ago.

Thanks for the reply.  You are quite correct. Pyxfce will not compile. It keeps looking for libxfce4menu. It will not accept the garcon package. Are you aware of any fixes for this problem?

I can certainly say that there is no easy fix. Currently, there is clearly not enough manpower to keep pyxfce in sync with XFCE base. hmm
